Peace and Blessings Bloggers! I hope this day finds you in a peaceful state of mind! Now that the warm weather has arrived and driving season is officially here, the attitudes are downloading as you are either shifting gears, or changing lanes. Whether we are the driver or passenger of a car we all have experienced the rage of the road. This is a topic that I need to blog about for self therapy if it helps you too, then blessings abound for us both! I dedicate today's blog to the person indicated in the picture to the left, we all know him or her, the one either driving under the speed limit or moving in and out of their lane with no signals and absolutely no idea that you are about half an arm's length away from him because they are busy texting or reading a text, drinking coffee or my all time favorite the young woman that is doing all of the above and in between holding the coffee and cell phone is managing to put on her eye shadow, blush and lipstick. Instead of remaining angry at these people, why not just release all of this negative energy. Let's not remain angry for how that person cut you off on the highway and nearly caused a 4 car collision but due to your tactical driving skills you were able to stop this from happening, let's think about the positive aspects in that, after all you could have been just another statistic on the road with a makeshift flower and picture memorial that usually becomes faded over time due to the weather and none of us want that. So someone has to be the bigger person, the logical one, the one that lives to see another day by simply letting go of the negativity. Let me be clear when I say let go of the negativity, I don't mean just transfer the negative thought by thinking or saying that he or she will get theirs they will eventually be an statistic. Instead when the thought arises, how about saying to yourself or to someone how thankful you are that there was no accident and that you are able to stand here talking to them. That's letting go! So with all that said, I have just released my negative thoughts to you all and I hope you all will do the same when faced with this scenario.
May your journey be peaceful!
